Training

We weren’t born knowing how to wash up (or load a dishwasher)!

We don’t know what we don’t know!

Sadly it’s far too easy to do more harm than good when attempting to work 1:1 with people with complex issues related to clutter, disorganisation, hoarding tendencies or addictive shopping/acquiring behaviours.

If you would like to understand more about this debilitating condition, please contact us for details of our bespoke Chronic Disorganisation & Hoarding Awareness training, which can be tailored to suit your requirements.

For example:

  • We love visiting Hoarding Support Groups (and other peer-lead support groups) to help them understand the connection between clutter, disorganisation and hoarding; explain how to use the Hoarding Ice-Breaker Form, and likely benefits of using it.
  • Occupational Therapist teams in hospitals sometimes opt for informal two hour lunch and learn chats (maximum 15 people), whereas Fire & Rescue Services prefer a full day as part of their fire prevention training.
